We Could Be King is a new feature documentary directed by two-time Emmy nominated director Judd Ehrlich (Magic Camp), it follows the riveting true story of two rival Philadelphia high schools - Martin Luther King High School and Germantown High - forced to merge due to budget cuts.
The film, produced by Tribeca Digital Studios in association with the DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation, follows the team's young, rookie coach and the school's new principal as they fight to overcome insurmountable odds and inspire their young players to come together and lift each other toward a better future.
