Jill Scott, Ledisi, Kelly Price & Marsha Ambrosius- Four Women (Live On BET’s Black Girls Rock) [Video]

Last night when many of you were probably watching some football, or other ish on the tube, BET aired this year’s Black Girls Rock show. The event, which is in its’ fourth year, was held in the Bronx at Paradise Theater, and honored some of the best African American actresses and female entertainers in our industry. Among those honored at the event was Raven Symone, Missy Elliott, Keke Palmer, and legendary actress/poet/activist Ruby Dee. Here’s some footage of Marsha Ambrosius, Kelly Price, Ledisi and Jill Scott singing “Four Women”–a Nina Simone cover that also appears on the original soundtrack of the latest film, “For Colored Girls,” which is in stores now. BET will re-air this tomorrow night at 8pm EST.
